| Bear Shadow Cottage sits at the edge of Lake Sebec in the heart of the Maine wilderness. The town of Dover-Foxcroft is about 15 mins.away. Bangor is about an hours drive south east. All the comforts of home are here including a shower an oil furnace w/ twin holding tanks to provide ample amounts of heat. This truly is a year round cottage rental. This Maine vacation rental has a full foundation basement w/ washer/dryer combo, a cold cellar and walk-out to the lake. A large deck provides superb lakeside dining with plenty of room for family and friends. There is a gas grill and large table w/chairs. The living room is bright and airy with lots of room, Direct TV and enough seating to relax and enjoy yourself. The master bedroom is large and has a king-size bed. There is ample closet space. The upstairs bedroom has 2 full size beds and more beds are available, including 2 on the closed in porch. There's also an outside fire-pit area for great outdoor entertaining. By the way, did we mention the view? Glorious sunrises in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Enjoy both from the full length glassed in porch that stretches east to west and faces Sebec Lake. |
